Aaryn W., LMT
Licensed Massage Therapist
Aaryn found her path as a Massage Therapist through her last career as a Radiologic Technologist (x-ray tech), her love for anatomy and physiology, and through receiving chiropractic and naturopathic care for her many symptoms related to stress, anxiety and dietary allergies.
As a Radiologic Technologist, she discovered the desire to help others to feel better as a whole--mentally, physically, and emotionally. With this, she found that she wanted to be in a more one-on-one positive situation, helping people to increase their knowledge about their body, how it functions, and how it relates to their overall health. With this she left my career as a Radiologic Technologist and returned to school for a new career.
When Aaryn began massage school, at Colorado School of Healing Arts, in October 2011, she knew that massage made people feel great and could help tissues heal from injuries, but was endlessly amazed at the basic physiologic changes that massage could create in a matter of 10 minutes of bodywork. Aaryn soon put all of her academic and personal healthcare pieces together and realized that every BODY has the ability to heal given the right tools--whether it be a chiropractic adjustment to align the spine and nervous system, a homeopathic remedy, or a massage to break up adhesions and realign tissues.
Aaryn's massage sessions are informative and therapeutic as she locates any projects that may need attention. Aaryn works on areas of focus first and then brings the body out of stress response by ending the session with a focus on relaxation. She brings intention and healing energy to each session, whether its for relaxation or deep tissue treatment. Each session ends with self-care techniques that can include ice/heat therapy and daily stretching to aid in the repair of tissues and their return to function and health.
